After your initial inquiry, we'll meet via video chat to make sure we're the right fit for each other! You can ask me questions + share your hopes & goals for your wedding day photos, and I'll guide you through what it'll be like to work together.
onboarding
When you're ready to book your day of photo with me, you can make it official by submitting a contract & deposit with a few clicks! Then, I’ll send over my welcome guide + a questionnaire to get to know you two better, & we'll set a date for your engagement session!

After months of coordination & guidance from me, you'll know you're in good hands when the day finally comes! Relax & soak in every moment of the celebration. Your memories will become a gorgeous collection of photos that you can hold onto forever.

I know how excited you are to relive your day! I'll send previews within 3 days & your full gallery will be ready in 5 weeks. Then, I'll carefully arrange your personalized heirloom photo box filled with prints & mementos from your wedding - a gift to share with generations to come.

Your engagement is such a special season to enjoy together — let's treat this like another date night where the focus is on being present + having fun in each other's company. You'll learn how to feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera with my prompts + direction (making your wedding day portraits a breeze)!

A few months before your wedding, we'll start thinking about the details of your day & set up a meeting to go over the timeline. I offer tons of resources + wisdom leading up to the wedding so that you feel prepared to have a stress-free experience!

Both of my cameras have dual card slots, meaning each image taken at your wedding is instantly copied to two places. After the wedding day, your images are backed up onto two external hard drives & the cloud. Your online gallery is active for 1 year, & I keep a copy of all your final images forever so you can be assured that your treasured memories are always protected!

There are no secrets with me — I'll share access to real full wedding galleries + my approach to shooting weddings & what your experience with me will look like.
You'll be impressed with fast turnaround times, personalized surprises, + extra effort in retouching the small things & other distractions in your photos. I'm an artist, but I'm also a professional, so know that your friends, family, & guests will be treated with respect. I know you're investing a lot of energy into this day, which is why I intentionally take on a limited number of weddings each year so that you feel supported with the care & attention you deserve!
I am based in Des Moines, Iowa and yes, I travel! 60 miles of round trip travel is included with engagement sessions & weddings (anything in excess of that is charged at $1/mile). For venues 125+ miles away, a fixed rate will be added to your package to cover overnight accommodations. For destination weddings or elopements, I'll create a custom quote for you that includes the exact costs for hotel, airfare, & transportation once I know where your day is taking place!

What is your favorite part of photographing weddings?
It's different for every wedding, but I like to describe it as rare moments that remind me of the impact & legacy this day will leave on the couple + their families. Photos are something that are permanent yet imperfect, a testament to how life was at one point in time. I love the photos that can never be recreated because they're so unique to the people in them.
