After your initial inquiry, we'll meet via video chat to see if we're the right fit for each other! You can ask me questions + share your hopes & goals for your wedding day photos, and I'll guide you through what it'll be like to work together.

When you're ready to book your day of photo with me, you can make it official by submitting a contract & deposit with a few clicks! Then, I’ll send over my welcome guide + a questionnaire to get to know you two better, & we'll set a date for your engagement session!

After months of coordination & guidance from me, you'll know you're in good hands when the day finally comes! Relax & soak in every moment of the celebration. Your memories will become a gorgeous collection of photos that you can hold onto forever.

Your engagement is such a special season to enjoy together — let's treat this like another date night where the focus is on being present + having fun in each other's company. You'll learn how to feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera with my prompts + direction (making your wedding day portraits a breeze)!

A few months before your wedding, we'll start thinking about the details of your day & set up a meeting to go over the timeline. I offer tons of resources + wisdom leading up to the wedding so that you feel prepared to have a stress-free experience!

My camera has a dual card slot meaning each image taken at your wedding is instantly copied to two places. After the wedding day, your images are backed up onto two external hard drives & the cloud. Both memory cards are saved until your gallery is delivered! Your online gallery is active for 1 year, & I keep a copy of all your final images forever.

I'm an artist, but I'm also a professional, so know that your friends, family, & guests will be treated with respect. All that said, I know you're investing a lot of energy into this day, and the most important thing I want is for you to feel supported with the love & attention you deserve!
I am based in Des Moines, Iowa and yes, I travel! 60 miles of round trip travel is included with engagement sessions & weddings (anything in excess of that is charged at $1/mile). For venues 125+ miles away, a fixed rate will be added to your package to cover overnight accommodations. For destination weddings or elopements, I'll create a custom quote for you that includes the exact costs for hotel, airfare, & transportation once I know where your day is taking place!

will you bring a second shooter or assistant?
A second photographer is not always needed, but depending on your timeline & other logistics, it can be a great way for me to be in two places at once & get different perspectives from the day. I highly recommend having one if it’s within your budget. We can talk more about this option during your consultation call!
